Et voilà deux semaines de passées déjà ! Tout se passe bien, la filiale m’a vraiment très bien accueilli et ce que je fais et vraiment sympa.

Le programme visa J-1 America Welcome m’a permis de réaliser mon stage à San Francisco dans une entreprise aux allures de start-up offrant ses services de consulting principalement dans l’élaboration de systèmes de traitement des eaux. C’est une expérience incroyable qui me permet de découvrir la mise en place de projet dans un nouveau contexte, les Etats-Unis ! Ici la vie est différente, San Francisco est une très grande ville, il y en a pour tout les goûts et vous trouverez toujours quelque chose a faire si vous le souhaitez. Si toutefois vous souhaitez vous éclipser le temps d’un weekend, vous pourrez toujours boire du bon vin dans la vallée du vin à Napa Valley ! »

As I think for many of us, to find an internship in the U.S. is a dream but a struggle. Once it has been done, you get to the step of obtaining a visa and the famous DS 2019. My entourage advised me to go with this or that organization, but I decided (rightly) to trust Welcome America, whom I never knew before. Everything went very well, it was quick and efficient and I was constantly aware of the status of my file.
Also, Less than two weeks after sending my application I was able to do my visa application. Then, I also was looking for an organized agency, one capable of simplifying (for the client) this complicated process for obtaining the visa. I found that America Welcome very successfully clarified the necessary steps and with great timing (about 15 days after receipt of the file).

As part of my studies, I went to the U.S. for an internship 6 months. This opportunity presented itself to me very late. It was therefore necessary to move fast so that I got the appropriate visa.
Thinking naively that a call to the U.S. embassy was sufficient, I quickly realized it would take me lots of patience (The appointment would only appear to be a mere formality).
Surfing the internet, I found America Welcome. I called Julie, the person in charge of the company in France. She explained the whole procedure including telling me exactly which visa I needed. She was very helpful and responsive when asking many questions.
To obtain a visa to the U.S., I think it is essential to get help from a good organization like America Welcome. I highly recommend it. Julie knows the procedure inside out, She has good experience in this area, so make use of it! When I got home, I found my passport with the visa inside.

My appointment at the Embassy went very well. Every form was in order, my file was validated very quickly. The interview was conducted in French with a lovely American. I left after about 13:30. After finding my internship in Miami, then comes the dreaded step of obtaining the visa. And for this, you need to choose a sponsor to get the DS-2019 form that you will present on the day of the interview at the Embassy of the United States. I chose "Welcome America" for their former participants, time taken to get the DS-2019 and also for the competitiveness of their price.
I can confirm that you can choose this sponsor with your eyes closed. I thank my interlocutor to have guided me in the process from beginning to end, for giving me all the necessary advice and for answering all my questions.
The appointment at the Embassy went very well, interview lasted only a few minutes with questions in both French and English such as : How many years of study you have there in your school ? What will you do in the U.S. ? In what areas do you study? I then got my visa 2 days later.

I was very satisfied with the services of America Welcome. Julie was very helpful from the beginning (of my inquiry) until the end (in receiving the DS-2019). She has answered my questions quickly and with great precision; she also accompanied me throughout the procedure.
Waiting times are short and Welcome America demonstrates high efficiency. My file was completed on the 19/04, the payment made on 20/04, the 23/04 my file was accepted and I received my DS-2019 on the 29/04. I have set my appointment at the Embassy for the 01/05 and my J-1 visa was sent me the next day!
